I knew that Lake Balaton is a very popular destination. Just somehow I had the hope that this small village that hardly shows up on a map would be a little more quiet.
But pretty much all the villages around the lake seem to have one thing in common: A camping area and a lake front with shops catering to a tourist’s every whim. Not quite my taste but with a bit of creativity it’s possible to dodge the worst crowds. One way to do that is going inland and up.
Other than that, quiet days here. Working, travel planning and sitting around while looking over the lake.
