So what do you do when your boss offers you a new position, more money and more holidays? My choice was to quit the job.
That decision had been in the making for a fair while though and it has now been around six weeks since I left a job that didn’t mean much to me any more. My mood has improved, I smile more often and I’m not any longer on the road to becoming a grumpy old fart (hopefully).
By now most of my belongings have been sold and during the last two weeks lots of administrative stuff and some planning have been taken care of.
Now I’m on the way into what will hopefully become the next big trip ©.
First stop is Berlin to visit friends and family and later this week it’s on to Budapest. Early September I have a flight out of Thessaloniki, which gives me about a month to cross the Balkans overland 🙂
