The gym attached to the school I attended as a boy burned down a couple of weeks ago and the site is still pretty much untouched. Looks as dark as the near Greek future.
Also quite similar to what my Aussie bank account looks like all too often. I wanted to know what it costs to travel for more than a year and had a look at the transactions for the past 14 months. Grinding it down to exact numbers would have been a PITA so here’s some rough estimates.
Cost for plane tickets, visa, dive certificates, food, accommodation, car, petrol, health insurance, trains, buses, alcohol and all the other stuff that makes life so enjoyable: A$ 20,500 / € 15,500.
Those numbers are not guaranteed to be correct but roughly €1,100 per month sounds alright.
